Description

The well-known Fashion and Travel blogger Delphine has all her luxury bags and jewellery stolen from her apartment in Milan during a burglary.
After initial despair, she begins to build up a new collection. To do this, she sets off on a shopping tour in the fashion metropolises of Milan and Paris. In the process, she is granted insight into the pro-duct lines, identities and histories of the fashion houses.
On a ride, she falls off her horse and when she regains consciousness, thinks she is in the year 1906. Exciting encounters follow with Coco Chanel, the Hermès family, Gaston-Louis Vuitton, famous actors, polo-players and, not forgetting, Arthur ‘Boy’ Capel, Coco Chanel’s great love. Delphine becomes entangled in criminal intrigues, love affairs and creative discussions.
Another accident catapults her back to 2018. A surprise meeting with one of the descendants of her 1906 encounters, the unexpected appearance of photos from a long bygone time and an Egyptian amulet with magical powers make her question the extent to which her journey through time was dream or reality.
